Owner Joe Ellis grew up fishing, surfing, and playing football in the Lowcountry until he enlisted in the Marine Corps and spent eight years serving and working towards a degree.
After moving back to Charleston and starting a family, he learned the importance of excellent customer service while running his own restaurants. Looking to return to the work which ignited his entrepreneurial spirit, Joe opened Rather Fish!
